The double pleat also known as french pleat is a type of top finish of the curtain in which, thanks to the use of a transparent stiffening band, we get a permanent curtain pleating at even spacings. Linen double pleat curtains have so far enjoyed the greatest popularity in the interiors of elegant hotels, which, wishing to maintain an impeccable appearance of the window decoration, appreciated the constant creasing of the curtain. Over time, as the popularity of KS rails grew, the double pleat began to appear more and more often in homes. No wonder, since this solution has many advantages! Double pleat curtains always look good – whether the curtain is drawn to the side or happens to cover the entire window, thanks to decorative pleats permanently sewn together, the fabric is perfectly draped all the time.

The pleating hooks are a few centimeters high and allow you to change the height of the fabric in 5 mm intervals, allowing you to adjust the curtain to uneven floors or to hide the ceiling rail under the so-called "header" of the fabric. These few centimeters also come in handy in an emergency situation, when during washing you accidentally set the spin or temperature too high and gently shrink the linen. In addition, curtains with pleating hooks are easy to care for. Until now, curtains were either easy to put on and take off or elegant looking. Now you can have a beautiful window decoration that won't cause us sleepless nights when it's time to wash. The curtain is removed from the curtain rod entirely and washed together with the hooks. Then, after ironing (we recommend ironing the pleats with a steamer), we hang the curtain with the hooks already attached, simply putting them through the rings on the curtain rod, which is a big time saver. The hooks are made of properly shaped and protected material, which does not damage or tear the curtain. Double pleat curtains are designed for KS-type wall and ceiling rails and curtain rods with rings for the double pleat system.
