On this occasion, we present the most important properties of linen clothing and the advantages of linen, which will warm hearts and encourage you to test it (literally) on your own skin.
1 ADVANTAGE OF LINEN: SOOTHES WITH ITS SOFTNESS
For many years on the market there was a myth that linen was stiff and rough. In reality, however, the softening methods used make the fibres extremely airy, light and subtle. So they fit perfectly on the body, do not restrict movements and provide comfort – even during the hot months. Giving exceptional properties to linen garments.
The stonewashed method, according to tradition, consisted of softening fibres with stones, which were thrown into the drum of the washing machine. Nowadays, of course, we use a bit more modern art, but the effect is the same – every time we get a wonderful delicacy that soothes the skin.

All this thanks to natural fibers, which allow free air circulation and also successfully remove moisture, reducing the risk of sweat or water accumulating on the surface of the skin. Thanks to this, it can carry out all the processes, and you feel pleasant coolness and comfort – even when it’s hot outside,
3 ADVANTAGE OF LINEN: IT IS DURABLE AND EASY TO CARE FOR
Linen is resistant to mechanical damage. Therefore, it is said that clothing made of natural fibers can last for years – without the risk of slipping, pulling or breaking. All this goes hand in hand with easy care – no manual washing or expensive detergents.
Washing linen clothes should be carried out on a gentle programme, using natural liquids and agents. It is not advisable to use softeners that could change the structure of the fibers. Instead of drying in the washing machine drum, it is better to hang wet clothes on a hanger or string – both in the sun and on a stand spread out in the living room. Linen products can be dried flat or vertically – the latter method uses the force of gravity to gently smooth the fibres.
The myth is that linen fabrics cannot be straightened. In fact, ironing damp linen is very efficient and safe – which we know you often use for linen tablecloths or linen curtains.
4 ADVANTAGE OF LINEN:IT IS NON-ALLERGIC
Linen clothes are antiseptic – i. e. they reduce the risk of proliferation of microbes and bacteria, which are the main cause of irritation and inflammation. Few people know that for years bandages and plasters were made of flax, which perfectly cared for wounds and accelerated their healing.
Linen dresses or shirts are therefore extremely safe for allergy sufferers who react skin to long-term contact with synthetics or artificial materials. It is linen clothes that are recommended for children or the elderly, whose skin is extremely demanding and delicate.
