How to set the table for Christmas Eve?

Time passes inexorably. And so the year comes full circle, and we see Christmas approaching on the calendar. Among the preparations, we dress the Christmas tree with colorful baubles and hand-dried oranges, create bouquets of spruce to hang proudly on the front door, prepare gifts in colorful boxes and plan a sumptuous meal.
Apart from these elements, the decoration of the table, at which we eat aromatic borscht and host our loved ones, is extremely important. As part of Christmas inspirations – we have prepared three festive linen arrangements that will answer the question: how to set the table for Christmas Eve?
TABLE DECORATIONS: GLAMOUR
To create this arrangement we were inspired by elegant interiors, full of splendour, inspired by prestigious interiors and Hollywood homes of the “high society”. If you love décor, maximalism, color, marble and crystal finishes – you’ll love this stately offering.
Creating a glamorous Christmas arrangement, we chose our linen Christmas tablecloth in a charocal shade. Its deep, dark grey colour is reminiscent of elegant, romantic restaurants where luxury and slightly dimmed, atmospheric light reign. They can be accompanied by contrasting muslin napkins – e. g. in a natural linen shade. The element chosen in this way brings to mind fields of flax, which are a symbol of prestige and the most valuable properties, appreciated since antiquity.
The whole styling is complemented by gold cutlery – strong, expressive, richly decorated, which is an interesting variety for the classic tableware. Gold and darkened graphite is a very graceful proposal – especially if you use simple glasses on a narrow pole and gold napkin rings.

By creating the classic table, we wanted to pay tribute to simple elegance, classic solutions and universal proposals, which will always work, regardless of the occasion and nature of the celebration. Many will probably consider it a safe proposition – for us it’s an iconic arrangement that is associated with purity, delicacy and romance.
The centerpiece of a classic style table is of course the white linen Christmas tablecloth, which will blend in with the truly festive aura. In duet with white, linen napkins it will create a perfect base for other elements – spruce branches, crystal glasses and long, white candles set on long candlesticks. Such a minimalist and simple arrangement is almost magical, making it perfect for an intimate, traditional Christmas.

We love what nature gives us! We have emphasized many times on our blog that the planet is the inspiration for our work. So when creating our Christmas decor suggestions, we couldn‘t miss the rustic version, which is a nod to picturesque fields, freshly picked flowers and a raw finish, best seen in our rustic linen collection.
The third proposal is based on a linen Christmas tablecloth in natural shade – minimalist, which is a perfect background for the other, natural accessories. Gold candlesticks, which support the chosen colour scheme, and wooden napkin rings, which are a nod to green forests and hand-carved furniture, are perfect for this role.
