Many times you ask us – whether on social media or via email – what to do when your bedding does not fit into the “standard dimensions. ” That’s when, with great joy, we respond that nothing is impossible for us. And this means that a linen natural set can appear on any bed. For the benefit of all those who wrote (or wanted to write!) to us with a similar message – we come with a new post in which we will reveal what tailor-made bedding looks like with us!
OUR LINEN BEDDING – WHY IS IT WORTH IT?
How many times have you woken up covered in sweat? How often have you been unable to fall asleep because the duvet sticks to your body? Have you ever woken up with a rash or allergic reaction?
All these situations have one culprit – artificial fibers that impede proper thermoregulation, creating an effective barrier against free air circulation. Therefore, with peaceful rest in mind, our linen sets were created, which even have “magical abilities”.
Linen is distinguished by its high hygroscopicity. This means that it is excellent at absorbing water (including sweat) from the surface of the skin and then wicking it away. This way, even after a long summer night, you wake up rested and fresh – without a drop of sweat on your back. Along with hygroscopicity, linen fibers exhibit thermoregulatory properties. With this ability, the linen pillowcase cools in the summer and warms in the cold, taking care of the body‘s proper temperature. It is estimated that the thermoregulatory abilities of linen are even higher than those of wool, which we so often encounter in winter coats and sweaters.
Natural fibers – and our sets are made of 100% stonewashed flax – prevent the growth of microbes and bacteria. The fast-drying tissue is not an “attractive environment” for the multiplication of allergens, allowing children, allergy sufferers and people with neurodermatitis to sleep peacefully.
In addition – linen is extremely durable and resistant to frequent washing and sun drying. Moreover – the more often it is used, the more fragile it becomes. This means that your favorite bedding in a shade such as natural or pure white will stay with you for many, many years – captivating you with its softness both on a cold December night and on a hot August evening. All these valuable qualities made us – for the sake of our customers – to introduce tailor-made bedding. It is thanks to her that everyone can enjoy this unique softness and delicacy.
CUSTOM MADE BEDDING – HOW TO ORDER?
We love the individual approach to the customer. Why? Because we believe that in this way our products become more unique and, by the way – support the planet by eliminating mass production.
We sew our linen sets to special order. We do not keep “ready” in stock – instead, we prepare each pillowcase set only after ordering. As a result, we minimize the risk of losing valuable fabric and can personalize it by applying embroidery or designing smaller standard sizes.
When you click on the linen covers, you can select the target size from the drop-down list on the right. The EU (European) and US (American) dimensions are used. However, if no target sizes for sheets, duvets or pillowcases are listed, you don’t have to give up on our products!
Write us an e-mail at hello@so-linen. com, specify which color and surface you are interested in, and finally specify the desired dimensions. Custom bed linen can also be personalized by embroidery with initials or dates. If you’re not sure which color of the pillowcase suits your romantic or modern bedroom best – order linen fabric samples to see all shades “live. ” The maximum waiting time for a linen pillowcase is up to 10 working days (sewing bed linen to measure takes slightly less time than sewing curtains for special orders). During this time, our tailors take a dozen hours so that you can open the courier’s box with pleasure.
