An elegant little house filled with the smell of a freshly baked yeast cake, the delicate dress of a dancing ballerina and romantic English interiors reminiscent of such hits as “Little House on the Prairie” – this is how, in a nutshell, we would describe the main inspirations for creating our ruffled curtains. Their construction is definitely the most ornamental and decorative one from all our curtains, thus unique. They will certainly be appreciated by those who love slightly refreshed classic.
This design is based on a fairly simple idea. The originally simple form was gracefully decorated with an additional roll of fabric to create a delicate, girly ruffle sewn onto the lower part of the curtain.

In the offer of so Linen!, you will find two different propositions that will respond to different needs and styles of our interiors. The elegant ruffled curtains, when arranged in the form of horizontal rows, stand out by their massiveness, expressiveness and slightly "palace like" style. The strong accent, consisting of several overlapping frills, resemble the sumptuous dresses from English manor houses and Victorian cradles in which children slept. Another proposition are delicate and single-layered curtains with a frill, which create slightly lighter, subtler and more subdued effect. Both the former and the latter come in different weights, labelled as stonewashed or heavy linen. The stonewashed ones let a little more light through, surprising with their lightness and subtleness. The latter are bolder, thicker and more "decisive", which is appreciated especially by owners of vintage interiors. Our ruffled curtains are made of 100% linen, which makes them solid and durable. They also have hygroscopic properties. It is thanks to this ability that they wick away moisture effectively, don’t electrify and help to keep the desired, moderate temperature in our four walls. Thanks to this magical ability, we don’t have to worry about cold winter mornings, when we do not want to leave our warm beds, or hot summer nights, when it gets difficult to fall asleep.
