Linen roman blinds – a novelty of linen that surprises with characteristics

As the name suggests, this original window decoration was created in honour of the Romans who fought against the heat in antiquity and created the first temporary roller blind to protect the interior from the stubborn sun.
Nowadays roller blinds fulfill a similar function and impress with their design and – in the case of the linen fabrics used – their properties.
OUR MADE TO MEASURE LINEN ROMAN BLINDS
In the production of roman blinds, we wanted to combine the quality, strength, aesthetics, and properties of flax, which are in themselves the most valuable value. We did not want to give up the gifts that nature has given us, so the end product is completely natural, ecological, and environmentally friendly. In the production of roller shutters, we use organic flax, which is grown in France, among other places. When processing fibers, we do not produce any surplus in the warehouses by sewing the product only after receiving the specific order.
This allows us to adjust the size of the roman blinds to the window sizes – both narrow and low, as well as wide and high. This flexibility and individual approach ensure that every window receives its natural linen decoration without accumulating additional products in our warehouses that violate the zero-waste principle.
In addition, in the Warsaw area, we offer assembly assistance to ensure that the linen roman blind is fastened correctly, quickly, and securely. In addition to the orders – also outside the capital – we enclose a manual to make it easier to disassemble, maintain and attach the roller shutters.
LINEN ROMAN BLIND – CHARACTERISTICS
Ok, but why would you choose specifically linen roman blinds? What is the difference between those and other products available on the market?
We hurry with the answer. Their biggest advantage and most valuable property is the material used – linen. This precious plant offers us a wealth of values that we will not find in artificial or synthetic materials.
The strength and durability of the fibres guarantees us a long-term use and easy cleaning. The blinds can be washed and maintained from the frame after unlocking – similar to linen towels or linen bedding. Thanks to its antistatic properties, the product does not attract dust, the fur of our four-legged friends, or pollen that comes from the outside. Ultimately, the cleaning and care of the blinds made of linen are much easier than with products made of synthetic materials. The latter electrify very often and attract all pollutants from the air like a magnet.
In addition, roman blinds are thermoregulatory – that is, they allow cool gusts of wind to penetrate in summer and lower the temperature inside the apartment – and so store valuable heat in winter. In addition, its texture is air-permeable and ensures proper circulation, which is so valuable for our health and well-being.

THE PROCESS OF MAKING THE ROMAN BLINDS
If you would like to order our roman blinds, remember that they are made to order. What does that mean?
First, we don’t create any surpluses, so your roman blind doesn’t gather dust behind the warehouse waiting for your turn to ship. Production will not start until you have completed your order by giving us the go-ahead for your order. The first step is to make the mechanism of the blinds according to your window In this phase, we work with a Polish manufacturer and support another local business. The second step is the work in the studio, where our skilled tailors fasten the finished, self-sewn fabric. Done! After this process, your roller shutter will be packaged and sent to the specified address.
