We are constantly changing and expanding our linen product family. So among this year’s novelties appeared a linen laptop case, which allows you to maximize the spirit of less waste. Using the material clippings that remain after the creation of linen bedding or linen curtains, we have created a functional case that you can take with you to work or travel. How to choose the size of a laptop case?
GET TO KNOW OUR LAPTOP CASE!
Our cases are made of soft, delicate, 100% stonewashed linen (medium linen – weight 160 g/m2). Additional protection is natural hemp filling, which absorbs shocks.
The idea of a linen cover is to protect your laptop from dust, scratches, and damage. So it will work great both on the road and at home – as protection against crumbs spilled coffee, and hairy friends. Of course, we use only natural fibers that do not attract dust and are extremely durable, thus serving for many long years and on many, the most distant expeditions.
At so linen! we have prepared a laptop case in two colors and two sizes – smaller and larger. In addition, each model has a supply of material for a charger, mouse, stationery, and calendar. All this is complemented by a minimalist pattern of rhombuses, which combines functionality with naturalness and aesthetic design. And all this in accordance with the spirit of less waste – i. e. using cuttings and scraps from other linen products from our offer!
HOW TO MEASURE A LAPTOP? HOW TO CHOOSE THE SIZE OF A LAPTOP CASE?
At so linen! we have prepared covers in two sizes. Smaller size – 25 × 35 cm – corresponds to 9 × 13 inches; larger size – 28 × 40 cm – 11 × 16 inches.
These dimensions have a margin of a few centimeters – because linen is a working fabric, therefore it is necessary to assume a tolerance of dimensions of about 2 cm. So how to accurately measure a laptop?
Step 1: Take a sewing centimeter or ruler.
Step 2: Place your laptop in front of you – preferably on a flat, hard surface.
Step 3: Apply a centimeter from left to right – taking into account any protruding elements. Ultimately, the result should be read from the two furthest points. Repeat to measure the height of the laptop – i. e. the shorter side.
The first result given on the page (i. e. 25 cm or 28 cm) is the height of the laptop, and the second measurement is its length. Remember that the given case has a margin of about 2 cm, so if your laptop is on the border of two sizes – choose a larger one that will allow you to take your charger, phone, notebook, or business card.
You don’t have a ruler or an inch on you? As part of a short download, we suggest that laptops such as ZenBook or MacBook are about 13 inches long, and classic graphics tablets and iPads – approx. 9-10 inches.
If the given dimensions do not fit your laptop or tablet – write to us. We will be happy to sew a dedicated and custom case for you!
